Terry L. Long

Obituary

Terry L. Long, 69, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville.  He was born April 27, 1948 in DuBois, PA, a son of the late Amos and Mildred Anthony Long.  Prior to his retirement, Terry was a machinist for Westinghouse.  He was a member of the VFW Post 781, enjoyed woodworking, gardening and loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Heller Long; son, Chad Long and his wife, Tiffany; daughter, Stacey Kianese and her husband, James; brothers, Richard Long and his wife, Marie, Gary Long and his wife, Gloria;  two grandchildren, Morgan Kianese and Evan Long;  A celebration of life will take place on Saturday May 27, 1 to 5 p.m at VFW Post 781.  Arrangements made by the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  Memorials may be made to a pet charity of your choice in memory of Terry.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.

Rose I am so sorry to read this. And definitely shocked. My heart goes out to you and your family. Loosing the other half of your life is truly a tragedy. But he will always live in the hearts of your entire family. Peace during this time.

So sorry to read about the passing of Terry We worked together at NEMA and Westinghouse. I enjoyed working
with Terry at both places. He was a good guy. Very sorry for your loss, Rose.
