"Ive known Ray for about 23 years... I was his bartender at Kibby's in Baltimore ... although Ray had a grumpy disposition on the outside he had a very big heart... sometimes too big and I had to stop him from being taken advantage of... Ray would donate to every charity and kids fundraiser... he once helped an employee of ours who was dying from cancer so he could pay his bills.. he also paid for a friends funeral because his family was unable too... customers would come in and see Ray and actually be afraid because he would growl cuss and complain but once they knew there was another layer he became their friend.... Kibby's really won't be the same without him and nobody could fill his barstool ... once Ray lost Gerry he really gave up... several of us tried to help him.. we would try to make sure he was eating... bring him food but he would just say he was tired of all the shit lol... well Ray I will never forget your crazy ways... your mean attitude and your big heart... love you sweetie xoxo til we meet again ... Melinda"

Thank you for your kind words about Ray. You described him to a "T". Thank you for taking care of our big brother.
