Holly Beth Morcheid

Obituary

Holly Beth Morcheid, 26, of North Huntingdon, peacefully and gracefully entered the gates of heaven on April 5, 2017.  Holly was born on December 4, 1990 in Jeannette, PA.  She graduated from Norwin High School in 2009.  Holly was employed at Bristol House Personal Care Home. She was a sensitive soul and cared very much for other people, especially her elderly residents at work.  She had a passion for makeup and she aspired to become a makeup artist.  She was a free spirit who was passionate about nature, music and the outdoors.  She spent much of her time at concerts, festivals and hula hooping at the park.  Holly is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Peter and Bernice Kriss and her paternal grandparents, James and Theresa Morcheid.  She is survived by her parents, James and Lauren Morcheid; two sisters, Katie Morcheid of North Huntingdon and Kristen Morcheid of Shaler, PA; nephews, Ryan, Alex and Jayden; niece Brynna who she all loved very dearly; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Holly was a generous loving person with a big heart.  She was known as a giving person, and even in death, her giving continues as her donation of organs will touch the lives of five people.  Visitation at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Friday from 4-8 p.m.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
